The Prana is Nature’s Boon for Quantum Leap in Sadhana
An amazing technique of Siddhyog i.e. Kundalini Shaktipat
Meditation Yoga
The main question of every disciple is which is the right
way to meditation? How to progress faster in sadhana? Is there any scientific
way for awakening of Kundalini? The methods/sadhanas in all religions aim for
the spiritual progress of disciples. But the path to spirituality is beyond
mind. All methods done using mind are not able to progress sadhaka in right
direction. So external help of guru is important for this. Here, we introduce shaktipat,
which is a method of flowing prana energy into disciple by external help of
Master. The shaktipat is nature’s boon for quantum leap in sadhana. It
is like using a lamp to lighten other lamps. If you have done lots of good
karmas and you are fortunate, you reach to a Master who is expert of
shaktipat. It is the method to make direct changes in sadhakas’ body
(chakras, nadis, kundalini) and subconscious mind. So Let us try to understand
what really meditation is.
Your
mind and body should be pure. So Patanjali gave several processes. If body and
mind becomes pure, you can easily go into meditation. In layman’s language,
I will divide this process in two parts. One is tension, other is relaxation.
One is active process, other is inactive process. First you have to activate prana
(bio energy) in your body. So yoga-asana,
pranayama,
aerobic exercises, kriya-yoga
exercises are required. We use some exercises, 10 aums, 40 anuloma vilom
pranayama (alternate breathing), 3 rounds of 25-short soham and 25-long soham
and khechari mudra. The objective of active processes is to activate sushumna
nerve, to activate seven charkas.
Then inactive process includes relaxing and witnessing the mind. They start
natural processes in mind and body.
How yoga-meditation really work
Our
yogic science found existence of seven bodies: 1st physical body, 2nd
prana body (etheric double), 3rd shukshma body (astral body), 4th karana body
(causal body), 5th mahakaran body, 6th chaitanya body and 7th virat body.
These are not imaginary bodies. Every one can discover them by yogic practice.
In fourth body, causal body (karana sharir), there are seven charkas, kundalini
energy (serpent power), and 72000 nadis. These are hardware circuits made of
bio-energy (causal current). The mind is a software part of fourth body. If
you manage fourth body, you can control functioning of mind and body. Our
guruji follows Siddhyoga
tradition. So he or any master who knows shaktipat (infusing causal
current) can improve your causal body and mind. He also trained several
persons to teach meditation others and to heal diseases.
Meditation
is not doing, it is beingness- happeningness. It is a beyond mind state. When
meditation happens to you, then only you know what meditation really is. The
main important things for meditation are
purification or developments of all our seven bodies. It is development of our
consciousness. In 4th casual we have kundalini, seven chakras, 72000 nadis.
The seven chakras are 1. muladhara 2. svadhishthan 3. manipura 4. anahata 5.
vishuddha 6. ajna 7. sahasrara chakras.
We
do ten aumkaras ( aum sounds) . These aum-sound purifies first three
chakras.
And
anuloma- viloma pranayama purifies later 4 chakras. Three of them are main
nadis; ida, pingala, sushumna. In meditation sushumna nadi should be
activated. Anuloma - viloma pranayama are done for it. It flows prana
energy from kundalini to sahasrar - brain centres. So brain centres are
developed. Ajna Chakra in 4th causal body which is pineal gland in third body
is also to be activated to practice sakshibhava.
Suppose
you practice sakshibhava, then your ajna chakra is activated. Or if you
activate ajna chakra be having effortless attention on it, you can enter in
sakshibhava, which is beyond mind state. When you are witness - sakshi, you
are united with supreme being. There is no difference between you and God.
You becomes a hand of God in such state. At this moments your ego
becomes zero. So you become a representative / messenger / drshta of God. It
is very easy to achieve for every one. When your ego becomes zero, supreme
being starts working through you. So whether it be a meditation or any other
worldly work, if you are able to be witness-sakshi, this work is done by
supreme being using your body-mind as God's instruments.
Most
of the religions have either worked on developing depth of consciousness or
expansion of consciousness. Both developments are equally important. So for
developing depth of consciousness, we practice short - soham pranayama. And
for developing expansion of consciousness, we practice long- soham pranayama.
Khechari
Mudra activates our medulla oblongata center (in 1st body), in yoga it is
called bhanvar gufa (cavity). This center controls nine systems of 1st body.
Yoga discovered tenth function, which is to communicate with universe
using this center.
In
short, if we define meditation, meditation is do nothing at all by
yourself. We have to facilitate natural processes which occurs automatically
by itself. What ever happens, let it happen. What ever happens to body, let it
happen. Do not control your body. Relinquish all your control from body. Do
not make your body stand-still. If it remains stand-still it is ok. If it does
not remain stand-still, it is also ok. When you free our control from body,
the kundalini energy starts working purifying processes in your body. It is
divine energy. It knows your all bodies better then you. Where ever required
, it goes there and removes impurities. If body needs to perform some posture,
it moves your body organs in such way that marvelous yogasanas are formed
miraculously. Several yogic exercises, kriyas, mudras are formed
automatically. To some one this kundalini energy may make laughing. Or to some
one, it may make crying, shouting, dancing or doing unpredictable things. One
of our sadhaka used to speak unknown language during meditation. It was
recorded and shown to language experts. This language came out to be Chinese!
The matter which was coming out of his speech was of past birth several
centuries ago. In this birth, he does not know Chinese language at all. There
are such lots of example happened during guruji's meditation programme which
are unbelievable by either science or normal public. In short, again if we
define meditation, meditation is do nothing at all by yourself. We have
to facilitate natural processes which occurs automatically by itself. What
ever happens, let it happen. What ever happens to body, let it happen. Do not
control your body. Relinquish all your control from body. Relinquish all your
control from mind. So gradually true meditation will happen to you.
How to do meditation?
Purification:
We teach several exercises
for purification of all subtler bodies in advance programmes.
But we will here select only four kriyas (step 1 to 6).
The
following are the steps:
Step
1:
To go into meditation by will.
This is the most important step. You should control yourself from begin. So
we use one mantra – switch for sub-conscious mind to go into meditation
and to come out. If you do not control from begin, when meditation starts,
it controls you. And you will not have control over it.
Step
2:
10 aumkaras: to activate muladhara, svadhishthan, and manipura charkas
Step
3:
40
anuloma-vilom pranayama (alternate breathing) to activate sushumna nerve. And
to activate anahat, vishuddha, ajna, sahasrar chakra
Step
4:
3
rounds of 25 short soham and 25 long soham. For development of consciousness
Step
5:
5
seconds Khechari mudra: activate “medulla oblongata” (bhanvara gufa) , a
center to communicate with universe. The center also control other nine
physical systems in body like respiratory system, blood circulation, etc
Step
6:
stay for a while at third eye (pineal gland)
Effortless effort for
meditation
Step
7:
Relax your body. Relax your mind. Witness your mind.
Step
8:
Before
entering to meditation, you have to decide how much time you want to go into
meditation. E.g. if you decide 30 minutes, you will come out exactly after 30
minutes. So come out of meditation. Otherwise your will-sankalpa becomes weak.
Step
9: Seat in meditation
What to do with body
To
do nothing. Relax your
body as much as you can. Do not move any part of your body. If any part starts
vibrating and moving or revolving, then it is the process due to prana and
kundalini. So do not control any thing. Make your body free. Let it do every
thing by itself.
Several guru teaches you to sit erect, but if you try to sit erect your
attention remains with body and you cannot go beyond mind. But mistakenly, you
forget to be erect, in such moments, you enter into meditation. But again you
remember to be erect and come out of meditation again. We are doing meditation
to go beyond mind. But as and when meditation happens to any one naturally,
his prana starts flowing in sushumna nadi. So body naturally forms erect
posture. But the imitators do not understand true yogi's meditation. So they
teach to be erect. Similar, is with asanas - yogic postures. They are useful
for purification of subtler bodies. You cannot sit in lotus-posture
(padmasana) for long time. But you can remain in meditation for 30 minutes to
24 hours or for few days. So when you enter meditation, postures are naturally
formed as and when required.
What to do with mind
To
do nothing. This seems to
be difficult. The mind is dynamic. Its nature is not to be standstill. It can
never be standstill. It is like sea-waves. You can ride sea-waves. But you
cannot make them standstill. Mind has only two types of thoughts. One the mind
likes (raga). Other, mind dislikes (dvesha). If you become witness – sakshi
of thoughts, you will be able to go beyond mind. Where there is thought, there
is mind. Where there is no thought, there is no-mind. After some practice you
will notice, a chain of thoughts comes one by one. There is a small gap
between each thought. This gap is the beyond mind state. Do not try to
increase this gap or decrease it. But by practice this gap naturally
increases. And you have a quantum leap of thoughtless state! This
thoughtlessness is the first step of yoga. Chanters can never achieve
this. For chanters even, when momentarily they forget to chant mantra, they
become naturally thoughtless. Due to effect of mantra, purification of mind
happens and mind becomes thoughtless for a moment and make you enter
meditation. But you do not know this state and promptly come out, and start
chanting again. Aim of chanting is only purification of mind. But chanters do
not understand this and go on chanting for whole life. If you know thoughtless
state, your journey starts. And first time you feel owner of your mind and
body. After this the mysteries of yoga-spirituality unfolds to you. And your
progress towards samadhi starts. You do not have to change your life style.
You need not observe any rule-rituals. You have to know science of body, mind,
soul and practice it scientifically.
To
do nothing at all is meditation. What ever comes , let it come. What ever
goes, let it go. What ever happen, let it happen. You should not increase the
thoughts. You should not decrease the thoughts. You will watch with witnessing
the thoughts coming to mind.
Step
10:
One aumkara: to pour in prana from outer space.
Step
11:
Drink
milk. This is compulsory.
If you do not drink milk, please do not do meditation. The meditation
activates kundalini energy, which is made of fire element. So it needs milk.
If you do not drink milk, you may have problems like piles, Fischer, etc. or
if you drink water promptly after meditation, there is a possibility of skin
diseases. If you feel heat inside even after having milk, then you should add
ghee to milk. More the meditation , more milk and ghee you will need.
